I don't know how many blog posts I wrote on my idea about downloading acting related YouTube videos to listen to while jogging or to watch on the plane. Every time I do it seems that people think it's a good idea but they either hate the websites I recommended, or they can't find the specific video I mentioned.
The issue with the websites I've recommended is that they are full of ads and popups and not really that clear on what to do with them. Even when I visit these sites, my brain gets scattered... What do I press?? Download? No, select output first. Oh, now I have to recheck download. Now I check start? And then an ad page comes up advertising something I'm not interested in. So now close it and... Ahhh. I get it. I get it.
There's got to be a better way! ;)
Well... I came up with a way to download my favorite videos using an algorithm, and I added it to the acting tips video site. Now, I understand it's not the same as downloading any video you want as an MP3 file, but the videos on that page will help many of you either with the art of acting or the business of acting, so make sure to give it a shot.
And in case you're new to the blog and unsure what the hell I'm talking about, let me just give you one more scenario, but since I'm running out they will start getting more unusual. :)
So imagine you're going on a camping trip in the middle of the woods. Guess what, no cell signal there. You were going to be one with the nature, but nature is being stubborn and it's pouring cats and dogs. Luckily you went to xyz.com and downloaded some interesting acting related videos, so get cozy and use the next 40 minutes to be productive with your career.
Bonus: If you have a dropbox premium account, you can make those videos available as mobile offline folders. This is a brand new feature that lets Dropbox Plus users access up-to-date folders on their phone or tablet even when they're off the grid. Accessing your stuff has never been easier.
