Greetings, creative minds!

Have you ever struggled with finding the best solution to learning your lines? If you've been reading our blog and paging through resources, you've probably seen some useful tools and apps that help with it, but last month I've had to remove yet two more links as the companies that host these tools don't make enough money and decide to shut it down after a while. Sad, but sorrow no more, as we have put together a tool that's here to stay.

Introducing Go Off-Book.

Go Off-Book is a new service we created for actors like yourself to help you with learning your sides so that you don't stumble over words during your audition. At this point it is in a "BETA" stage for testing, but we need your help to put it through the reigns so we can improve it and make it work even better. So, if you would like to help us test it out, head on over to and add your first side.

How does it work? Simple actually:

Step 1. Type in, or copy and paste your sides into the website.
Step 2. Identify YOUR lines quickly and efficiently.
Step 3. Generate virtual flash cards.
Step 4. Record and set timings of flash cards as you read through them.

This tool IS NOT intended for learning full scripts. Just script snippets, sides, that you would use during audition process.

We're even working on a feature that will read your partner lines for you, but we need feedback, a lot of feedback, and a lot of tests so we can see how it's working and what we can improve. So without further ado, please check out this line-learning tool for actors and if you'd like, click on the link below to see a video on how it works.
