For the past 3 years, each time I came across an interesting website, I bookmarked it by saving it in a chrome folder titled "Interesting". The most interesting part about it was that whenever I needed to find it again it would take me up to 10 minutes as it wasn't organized into categories, nor was it labeled properly. Some links were dead and it was just all a huge mess. But guess what? I finally moved it all into the database, and with that the resource section of the IADB website was born.

  1. Everything is categorized - from acting classes, to podcasts, from casting call sites, to workshops - neither you nor me will have to do as much digging ever again
  2. Everything is verified - meaning no more broken links. I wrote a tiny algorithm that checks the expiration date of the website. If the website listed in my resources expires, it will be removed from the list.
  3. Everything is labeled - meaning if I forget where I stuck something, I can still use the search section in the footer to find the link by searching for keywords.
  4. You can save your own! - okay, this is huge you guys. If you are a member of IADB, you can now bookmark your own resources when you're logged in. Isn't that awesome? So browse the resources now and bookmark anything you like, then you'll be able to access them again from your admin page! How cool is that?

Again, this is all for you guys. I have not used all of these services so I can't possibly vouch for them all, but I want you to know that there is a wide variety of different services out there, so do your research and find the right services for you.

If you have any cool links or resources you'd like to share with us, send them to me via the contact page, or let us know on social media.
