Social: Contacts

Your own address book of industry people, kept where the rest of your career already lives. Add a contact with as much or as little as you have: a name and an email is enough to start. Categories are what make it useful later, so group people the way you actually think about them - agents, casting, crew, class - rather than alphabetically. The notes field is the part that pays off. Where you met somebody, and what they were working on, is exactly what you cannot recall two years later.

Contacts is your own address book of industry people, kept where the rest of your career already lives. A name and an email is enough to start. Everything else can be filled in later. Categories are what make it useful. Group people the way you actually think about them: agents, casting, crew, class. Use the notes field. Where you met somebody and what they were working on is exactly what you cannot recall two years later. A contact list you can search beats a phone full of names you no longer place.
