Your account rather than your website. The email here is also what you sign in with, so changing it changes both, and the new address takes effect at once. Account Type reshapes the control panel around what you do, which is why a filmmaker sees sections an actor does not. Below that is your subscription and, at the bottom, the danger zone. Canceling stops the billing and takes your site down at the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting removes everything, permanently, and we cannot get it back.

It decides the words the rest of the control panel uses, and which sections you are offered, so it is worth getting right even though you can change it whenever you like. The second is the address you sign in with. Changing it here changes your login, so use an address you will still have in five years rather than the one attached to a job. The third is the one at the bottom. Deleting your account removes your website, your media and your credits, and we cannot bring any of it back. Nothing else on this page is dangerous.
