Take a look at the blog post titled: Actor's Needs Vs Actor's Should Haves. All casting directors and their approaches vary. Some will google you to find out more about you. Indie film directors will almost certainly do so as well. The question is: do you want them to find your Facebook page or your professionally designed actor website instead?
