I’ve always sort of wanted to do something in the entertainment industry like screenwriting or acting but watch Orange is the New Black as well as How to Get Away with Murder back to back made me obsessed with acting and led me to take acting classes. I was so attached to Orange is the New black, watching bts stuff, an…

Hi everyone. As a nonunion actor, if I was hired on a SAG short film with an AFI agreement, would that make me eligible for a Taft-Hartley? Sorry if this has been asked before - wading through all the rules around THs is giving me a headache. Thanks!

I went into 2020 hopeful but on the other side of hell year I admittedly have pretty much just let everything go except for surviving. With the potential for normal to return by possibly even July I’…

I see a scathing review about them from an angry parent of a teenage actor who was taken for a lot of fees, but it's not specific about exactly what happened. "Fees" being involved at all has me wary, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Any scoop on these people?

There are some voice actors who are recognizable no matter what tone they use for different characters. But there are also voice actors who are really good at creating a natural sounding voice that isn't cartoonish or exaggerated, or making slight adjustments to their natural voice and sounding drastically different in…

I’m UK based with no formal acting education. I’ve acted in student stuff and done a fair amount of work as a background artist. I’d love to get some walk on roles but I’m not sure how you’d go about getting them, can I find auditions for these myself or would I need to join an agency? Any guidance would be much apprec…

Long story short, there is a film that was recently announced on Deadline saying it was beginning production and got a confirmed deal with a big studio.
