Actor Website Builder

This is the official website of David Baxley. It was built with Web For Actors, a actor website builder that covers the whole site: the design, the pages, the media, and the domain www.webforactors.com.

How this site is put together

There is no theme to install here and no plugin to keep updated. David Baxley keeps his credits, photos, video and contact details in one place, and the site renders them. Because the content is stored as structured data rather than typed into a page, the same entry can appear in a resume, in a press kit and in a search result without being written out three times.

Switching to a different design does not mean rebuilding anything. The pages, the media and the credits stay exactly as they are, and only the layout around them changes.

What a Web For Actors site includes

• A custom domain, hosting and an SSL certificate
• A catalog of designs that can be switched at any time without losing content
• Photos, video, audio and downloadable files
• Credits, training and biography kept as structured data
• A contact form, a press kit and a printable business card
• Search-engine markup, an XML sitemap and analytics on every page

Build your own

Start a actor website, look through the designs, or read the plans and pricing. It takes a few minutes to put the first version up.
