SHAKESPEARE VOICE & SPEECH ONE MONTH INTENSIVE
The Actor's Studio of Orange County his is an Intensive in Shakespeare, Voice, and Speech for actors. This class will enable students to gain an awareness of the breath and the voice through self-observation and discovery. We will develop skills of relaxation to release habitual tensions that hinder vocal expressiveness, and develop skills of vocal support to strengthen the actor's natural voice. We will also delve into Shakespeare's text, applying these vocal techniques, as well as learning how to use scansion, prosody, and antithesis to the performance of monologues. This is a great class for anyone looking for a challenge in text work and Shakespeare, as well as actors looking to find strength and depth in their voices.
