In this web tutorial, we want to talk about the website and whether it's a must. Yes it is. I know there are still some agencies who don't like websites out. I do think in this world it's very important that you have that as an additional promotional tool. In regards to contact information, it should be your email address only. Why? You're becoming a public person. I think it's very important to think about stalkers.
00:55:
It has become really a big problem lately. So, I would say you should put, of course, your agent's telephone number on it and who your agent is at the agency. Please think about that. It's very important that, of course, people see that you have an agent and that you're serious with your acting.
01:13:
You should have different elements on your website. There should be a newsletter about new jobs that you booked. There should be a selection of additional photos that you can put to a casting director. Because you only have ... we agents only can give out one photo or two. On your website, there should be a whole range. You in different clothes, in different situations, so that you entice basically a casting director with your abilities. You should have film clips of work that you've done.
01:47:
I would put everything on WordPress, so if people Google you and whatever search engine you need, so you come up and your name comes up. Different elements are, as I said before, collection of photos. Please keep them all decent. Don't be shown with drinks. I mean, you want to show that you're professional and that you're not an insurance risk for the film production company. Have film clips on there. Your resume. Your always updated resume, please. Press clippings about you. Contact info of your agent. Your email only. And, your social media links.
