Unathi Speelman also known as Dikela. The young men was born in the Eastern Cape, on a small town named Whittlesea at Sada Location but moved to Cape Town@Khayelitsha Site B. As from High School ( Joe Slovo High School of Arts) he had passion for acting it was clear and obvious to anyone that Perfoming Arts is the way to go for him. He excelled in drama at school.
He played some great roles on few short movies like, When tomorrow calls(2002), A-ZU-RE (2002), A girl in the mirror and Thetha Msawawa. Dikela the ambitious and talented guy also made a name for himself in some big Theatre companys in Cape Town; "Baxter Theatre, Jungle Theatre Company, Arts Cape and many more.
He also performed at few Art festivals "Grahamstown Arts Festival, Arts Cape Heritage Festival, Zabalaza Festival, KNK Arts Festival. Also attended some festivals outside the country; "Malawi, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia and France.
