A native of Brooklyn, New York, Marty Rosen, currently based in Los Angele, still maintains close ties to his home town, His parents were both sports fans, and to this day Marty still roots for his home town sports teams, ie, the New York Mets, Giants, & Rangers, attending games whenever possible.Marty received his BA degree in biology, then went to work for the city of New York as a licensed medical microbiologist. From there, he gravitated to sales of medical equipment. After ten years as a traveling salesman, Marty was fortunate enough to be a winner on a television game show, which enabled him to purchase his first property, and also make another career change into real estate sales. A down market gave him the opportunity to do background work in film and television, which precipitated yet another career change into acting and modeling. While Marty still maintains his active real estate broker's license, he has been a member of SAG/AFTRA for over twenty years. His ultimate goal is to become a full-time, bi-coastal working actor.A variety of interests fill Marty's leisure time. His appreciation for motion pictures is almost equaled by his fondness for music, both live and recorded, specifically hard rock and jazz. He has also rescued abused dogs, and was often seen walking through the neighborhood with his "best friends".Fitness has always been a priority with Marty. He invested over 20 years studying martial arts, and still works out several times a week.
