Vanessa was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is mostly known as Nessie Hanon. At the age of 10 she found herself interested in music and started writing lyrics and learning about writing. She started a blog in 2010 and has nearly over 20,000 followers. By the age of 15, she discovered modeling and started taking pictures. Vanessa started an instagram for her photography (@darlingnessie3) to publish her work. In 2014 she became one of the first Faviana Brand Ambassadors for the fashion brand 'Faviana'. She was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in late 2016. Vanessa still had a passion for writing and became a writer for the California mental health community called 'The Mighty' in 2016. She started publishing articles about anxiety and depression and is still a contributor today. In the beginning of 2017 Vanessa wanted to pursue her early dream of acting. She started applying for jobs as extras in shows and in films. She's appeared in several episodes of NCIS: New Orleans and also appeared in the movie Assassination Nation alongside Bella Thorne.
