Actor Websites by Web For Actors - The Franoszek Connection: German-American actress Nina Franoszek talks about life on both sides of the Atlantic By Monika Müller-Kroll You might know Nina Franoszek’s face from the TV drama “Weissensee,” from “Mad Men” or Roman Polanski’s “The Pianist.” The German-American actress and acting coach has appeared in over 100 films and TV shows over a career spanning 20 years. Nowadays Franoszek has also become a de facto ambassador for the German film community on both sides of the Atlantic. We caught up with her to talk about rejection, life in L.A., loving Berlin and being typecast in Hollywood. “I don’t particularly come across German,” she says. “I’m a little bit too warm for German, so I play a lot of French.”
