Jason is an actor currently in his second year of BA training at the drama school ALRA (Academy of Live & Recorded Arts) in London. He has also been selected as one of the National Youth Film Academy’s Emerging Brits 2019. For this, he will feature in a short film to be be screened at Leicester Square to industry professionals this October.
Prior to ALRA he did mostly film and television in Canada where he lived during his final high school years. He starred in the short film V.E. Day Riots and the feature film Halloween Party which premiered at FIN; the Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He also did theatre before moving back to the UK. Whilst at drama school Jason has also starred in the short film Overdrive with Resource Productions. Jason is also a member of Equity (UK) and ACTRA (CA).
In his free time, he enjoys playing table tennis to a competitive standard as well as playing football, rugby and swimming which he has all done from a young age. He’s recently found snowboarding to be a fun pursuit which he hopes to do more of.
Jason speaks fluent French which he learnt whilst living in France for 3 of his childhood years. Whilst he has played darker characters, he currently prefers to play more funny, light-hearted roles, and looks to return to Canada sometime in the near future.
