Conrad Cecil is a classically trained actor known for his dynamic performances in thrillers and historical dramas. He can be seen in feature films alongside Sophie Marceau, Liam Cunningham and Clémence Poésy.Conrad Cecil was discovered when auditioning for a small role in the French WWII thriller Female Agents (2008): during the audition, he was cast as the English spy around whom the story turns. This launched his career.Born and raised in England, Conrad Cecil lived for several years in Paris, France, where he ran a theatre company and performed in both French and English.A passionate Shakespearean, Conrad Cecil has played many leading roles in the Bard's cannon, including Richard II, Cassius in Julius Caesar 2014 (2014), and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. He also worked on a unique hand-printed edition of Shakespeare's Sonnets. He has performed in a number of Greek plays for television, including The Trojan Women (2021) and Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, which are aired on Theatre Classics Channel.Conrad Cecil studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art & Kings College London and trained as an actor at East 15 Acting School in London.He now lives in Los Angeles and works regularly in film, TV, and on stage, as both actor and director.
