Landing the lead (and the only female role),in a Vin Diesel film that debuted at last year's Cannes Film Festival, (The Paint Job), Christy Chilton has also created some momentum for herself in the industry by securing predominantly lead roles (and a few supporting) in ten additional films, two mini series, a news correspondent position, four commercials and one music video, all which have wrapped within the last 18 months. A native of Hollywood, Florida, Christy landed her first starring role at the young age of 5, she was cast as Gretel in a theatre production of Hansel and Gretel at the St Pete Times Forum. Studying under the likes of Ellen Meade, Benson Simmonds, Ginny Kopf and Julia Gagne, over the years Christy has remained consistent in further developing her skill set, whether under private tutelage, collaboration with various theatre groups, or through experience via her performances in the theatre growing up. Shetually majored in theatre before acquiring a second degree in business with a concentration in marketing. As she continues to cultivate her craft, Christy is set to direct her first comedic short later this month and began the development of her first full length screenplay in November 2015. She is looking forward to the production of a few choice film commitments throughout this year. Christy is also a licensed yoga instructor, an "audacious entrepreneur", steadily bringing her prized business model in FemmeMogul to full fruition. Her current work to empower women ranges from initiating financial/business goal setting with adolescent girls, to investing in female owned start ups and offering low cost business & marketing consulting to female entrepreneurs. Christy is dedicated to making a difference through both the arts and various levels of charity work.
