Burgandi Phoenix's love of the stage and performing developed at the age of 2 1/2 when she began dancing ballet, tap and jazz. She danced as a company member with the Tucson School of Ballet and Ballet Rincon for several years and eventually went onto train in belly dancing, salsa, ballroom, modern and lyrical. At 14 years old she began modeling and quickly landed projects with local ad campaigns and clothing designers, appearing on billboards and on magazines. As a trained singer, she has performed in musicals and was part of the R&B singing group Divinity. She has had theatrical, improvisational and on camera training, which opened the door to many opportunities in voice overs and commercials. Upon her arrival to Los Angeles, she studied and continues to study The Meisner Technique with Laura Henry, The Alexander Technique with Julia Caulder & The Chekhov Technique with Marjo-Riikka Makela. She has been in several independent films and commercials, she is the Brand Ambassador of Talentboom, has been the spokes-model for ReFa USA and BearPaw Shoes and in 2013, she traveled to France to attend the Cannes Film Festival.
