Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Hector Jay was influenced at the short age of 9, by the guitar and percussion instruments along with Latin artist/actors.  Musician song writer, Hector Jay studied music at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts for 2 years, moving into the Local Conservatory of Music years later. His focus was music, but Hector knew their was an acting piece of him that motivated him to journey in various plays during this time.  Hector Jay went in to produce his first single in his local church at the time, and in 2016 he released his first full length album entitled ‘Quisiera’ Hector became known by fellow artist for his balladeer melody artistry, and was able to write for other up and coming musicians over the years.  Hector Jay’s talent speaks for himself. As he continues his endeavors in the music and acting scene, Hector Jay has opened his venturing eyes to the world of this fine art, hoping one day to leave a legacy to upcoming Latin artist and actors as a whole.
